Hw did she survive? Because she noticed the tsunami and ran quickly as possible.luckily,it came to her chest,because,if it got higher,bye-bye.
Well if I was in latha's situation I would keep myself safe and probably look for my family members and be brave. It must be sad because your mother is everything to you. She is like a best friend and I know how it feels to lose someone special in your life because I lost my step dad do to a motorcycle accident in May 23,2007 and it was heart broken when he died because he was my best friend and i loved him so much and i wish i still had a chance to see him and talk to him again.
If i was like Latha i would of bin scared when i saw the waves.
If i lost my mom and all my stuff i would be scared because how are we going to get money but losing my mom i would have noone to what i sould do to fix what we bin through ya my dad is there but he would not know what to do.

Latha survived by hearing her neighor screaming.she went out to see what was happening and it was a TSUNAMI.luckily it hit her waist,or she would have ben dead.
If I was in Latha's situation I would move to the United States with my family no matter how hard it would be. Because i think its pretty dumb to stay in the same place that a Tsunami Hit.Plus its very poor over there and it might be easier here then there.And if my mom would have died it would be real sad but like 2Pac's song says ''Life Goes On''.So i really think that Latha should be smart and THINK !!.She should atleast move somewhere where a Tsunami wont hit !!!

I fell bad for Latha's mom because she died when the tsunami came up where she lived.The whole tsunami story that were reading in the rbook is cool.I also feel bad for them because who is going to the food for them if the tsunami broke the fishing rod.I also think that it's a good thing that Latha doesn't go to because who would take care of her brothers.
I will go crazy if my mom died in a tsunami.
